Launch of the new wines (2012 reds and 2013 white and rosé) at the domaine

Christmas cheer began early in Domaine Vintur’s tasting room with a launch party for the new vintages. It was with much excitement and enthusiasm that James, Domaine Vintur’s wine maker been hosting this special event on December 14th, 2014 at Domaine Vintur vineyard.The much heralded red wine of 2012 and the wonderfully fresh white and rosé of 2013 we unveiled to friends of the domaine in a vertical and horizontal tasting of all our bottled wines.The 2012 reds showed their deep and intense flavours and aromas notes of spices and the garrigue. The Tradition 2012 which is unoaked showed charming fruit, whilst Le Gentleman 2012 showed off its intense “sweet” Grenache flavours with light notes of old oak. The Bélénos was singing with intense flavours and aromas.The white showed its fresh savoury characters and minerality. Complex but fresh with a long finish. The pale pink rosé spoke of summer fruit, crisp, dry and refreshing.
